The most common global eye problem is uncorrected vision. This presents a major opportunity for change, as 80% of all causes of visual impairment is preventable or curable by identifying and correcting with something as simple as a pair of glasses.
At Eyes of Africa, our mission is centered on identifying children lacking adequate vision, living in the most vulnerable areas of Africa and promoting the importance and services for eye health, care and protection. By offering comprehensive vision testing and essential eye care services, we aim to break the cycle of poverty that would otherwise hinder these children's educational progress and without this crucial support, these children face inevitable academic and day to day setbacks, locking them in a cycle of poverty.

Together, let’s provide a fair opportunity for children all over Africa, to reach their full potential and reduce the challenge of impaired vision, and the impact that might have not just for them, but to their greater community.
